Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Correia, on September 14, 2025, following a valiant battle with cancer. Born on August 29, 1969, in São Miguel, Portugal, to the late Jose and Maria Dos Anjos Correia.

Paul's life was a testament to the enduring spirit of the human heart. As Helen Keller rightly said, "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." Paul's life beautifully embodied this sentiment.

Paul Correia, an immigrant who arrived in the United States with his family in 1974, was a man of many talents and immense kindness. He was employed with TPI and later worked for JC Landscaping for 25 years - a job he took great pride in, always striving for excellence in every task he undertook. Beyond his professional life, Paul was a jokester who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his brother, Carl, with whom he lived with most of his life and shared an inseparable bond. He also enjoyed assembling model kits and singing karaoke. He was an avid fan of SpongeBob and held a special place in his heart for his family, with whom he cherished spending time.

His zest for life and infectious laughter will be greatly missed by his siblings Joseph Correia and wife Elizabeth, John Correia, Carmen (Maria) Farias and husband Jack, and Carl Correia. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, Jeanna and Scotty, Michael and Candace, Jeremy and Jordan, Rylee and Sam, and his aunt, uncle, and cousins in Canada.

Funeral Services will be private to immediate family.

The Correia family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Tom and his staff at Southcoast Funeral Home for their sincere caring and compassion during this challenging time.

In memory of our dear Paul, we invite you to share your heartfelt stories, photos, and memories on his memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comforting reminder of the joyful life he lived, and the indelible mark he left on all our hearts.

Services are humbly entrusted into the care of Southcoast Funeral Homes "Celebrating A Life Well Lived"
