Paul
Rocha
Jan 8, 1972 — Oct 27, 2025
Paul Rocha here, folks. You know me, the charismatic scrapper mechanic with a wrench in one hand and a fishing rod in the other. With a heavy heart, I write this from the beyond to remind you all of the adventurous life I lived, filled with family, friends, and the smell of motor oil.
Born in the heart of Fall River, MA, on January 8, 1972, I was always a bit of a gearhead and spent my life doing what I loved most. I was ambitious and determined, taking my passion for mechanics from a hobby to a successful career. I was happiest when I was elbow deep in engines, big and small. I also had a big heart for auto racing, and could often be found cheering on my favorite drivers. But my life wasn't just about the roar of engines and the smell of gasoline. I had a heart for adventure and the great outdoors, always seeking the next big hiking or camping trip. One of my favorite pastimes was fishing, a peaceful counterpoint to the clamor of the garage. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started." And boy, did I get started.
I was a family man at heart. My beautiful wife Sabrina-Marie, and our daughter Kayla, were my world. I also had a soft spot for helping others, always ready with a helping hand or a keen ear. I was a proud volunteer at the Battleship Cove CB Club, giving my time and energy to a cause close to my heart. I lived in Raynham, Massachusetts, but my roots were in Fall River, and I carried that city with me wherever I went. After all, as they say, "Home is where the heart is," and my heart was always with my home, my family, and the people I had the privilege to help.
As I take this new journey, I leave behind my beloved Sabrina-Marie and Kayla. I know they will keep my spirit alive, just as I will carry them with me always. I join my dear mother Joan, who preceded me in this final adventure. I'm sure she's got a hot cup of coffee waiting for me.
So here's to the journey, folks. I'm off on the next big adventure, but I'm not gone. I'm just in the garage. I invite you all to visit my memorial page, share your memories, and upload photos. I've had a hell of a ride, and I want to hear about the laughs, the tears, the moments we shared. Because in the end, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. And what a journey it's been.
