FALL RIVER... Pauline Mary Mello, 71 of Fall River passed away August 1, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Katherine L'Heureux Thomas, Edward Thomas and Gerald L' Heureux. She was the widow of the late Arthur P. Mello. Mrs. Mello had worked for 8 years as a CNA at Catholic Memorial Home and 7 years as a housekeeper at the Highlander Nursing Home prior to her retirement. She had enjoyed knitting, playing Bingo and camping but loved listening to oldies music and spending time with her family. Survivor include her daughters: Pamela Mello Lima and her husband Michael of Fall River and Kimberly Mello of Fall River; her grandchildren: Michael and Nickolas Dechaine and Michael and Tyler Lima; her sister Kathy Farnham and her husband Craig of Florida along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral to which relatives and friend are invited will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 at 9 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Michael's Church, Essex Street Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 - 8 PM.
