We are here to celebrate and honor the life of Peter Chaves who was born on March 14, 1948, in Fall River, Massachusetts, and passed away on April 2, 2025. As A.A. Milne once said, "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." This speaks to the profound impact Peter had on those around him. He was a beacon of light, radiating warmth, kindness, and joy to everyone he met.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Angelina Chaves.

He was a talented Artist and Photographer. Loved to play upright bass in his Bluegrass Band.

He is survived by brother Christopher Chaves, sister in law Jessica Chaves and nieces Olivia Chaves and Vanessa Chaves.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Holy Ghost Church located at 316 Judson Street, Tiverton, Rhode Island, 02878. This will be followed by the Committal Service at 11:00 am at the Pocasset Hill Cemetery, 44 Grinnell Avenue, Tiverton, Rhode Island, 02878.
