With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Phillip Proc, a beloved father and cherished member of our community, who was born on the 4th of July, 1932, in Fall River, Massachusetts, and passed away on June 15, 2025.
Phillip was a man of great strength and determination, a trait clearly seen in his career as a truck driver. His life perfectly illustrated the saying that "The road to success is always under construction". Phillip was a true embodiment of this, spending many years on the road, steering his life with the same skill and dedication he brought to steering his truck. His work was a testament to his resilience and dedication. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran who served his country honorably and faithfully.
Phillip was widowed by his beloved wife, Claire Proc, and is preceded in death by his parents, Waisle and Anna Proc. He is survived by his son Bruce and his wife Rita, his loving daughter, Darlene Rego and her late husband John, who both brought endless joy and comfort to his life. He leaves his legacy of love with his grandchildren; Bruce Proc Jr, Holly Cleaves, Daniel Proc, and Caitlyn Proc. His great grandchildren, Alexis Nazario, Daniel Proc Jr, Ronan Proc, and Brenden Cleaves.
Friends and Family are invited to attended a memorial visitation which will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM at Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, a by a prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM at the same location presided over by Pastor Bob Bernier.
