FALL RIVER... Raymond R. Mello, 80, of Fall River passed away May 13, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a short battle with Covid-19. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Manuel R. and Isabel (Pimental) Mello and had been a lifelong resident of this city. Survivors include his daughter: Theresa Duquette Charest of Rehoboth; his sisters: Theresa Martin and Marilyn Simons, both of Westport; his brother: John Mello of Swansea; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Charles "Charlie" Mello Duquette and brother of the late Melvin Mello. Due to current state regulations, services will be private.
