Obituary

Richard “Ren” Estrada, 32, passed away on October 24, 2026. Born in Boston on July 18, 1994, Ren was devoted to his family and took great pride in working hard to provide for them.

Growing up, family meant everything to Ren. He was a boxer with the P.A.L., where he trained under Libby Medeiros, and he carried that same determination into everything he did. Ren loved the gym, his motorcycle, and the time he spent with his brothers. He was also a devoted dog lover, especially fond of his five dogs and his beloved “Miss Biggins,” Nala. He truly loved watching sports with his brother and with his children. He was truly someone who enjoyed a good time and making his family laugh, some of the fondest memories came from Ren’s heart and ability to be silly with his family, he loved having dance parties with Jessica and their children!

Ren leaves behind his fiancée, Jessica Viveiros, and their three children, Patricia, 6, Callie, 5, and Shaun, 3. He also leaves his brother, Jimmy Christie, and sister-in-law, Gopi Christie, along with several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his beloved NaNa, Patricia Payne.

Family and Friends are cordially invited to attend a public visitation on Saturday, November 07, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM in the chapel. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly asks that donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in Ren’s honor.

Services are humbly entrusted to the care of Southcoast Funeral Homes, “Celebrating a Life Well Lived.”
