With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Robin D. Chretien, who left us on December 24, 2025.
Born on July 26, 1962, in Tiverton, RI, Robin's life was a testament to her unyielding spirit, kind heart, and her unwavering dedication to her family and loved ones. In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." This quote encapsulates Robin's essence perfectly as she touched the lives of many with her warmth and compassion.
Robin, a former resident of Tiverton and current resident of Fall River, Massachusetts, was a devoted employee at Charlton Memorial Hospital, where she worked diligently as a Bill Collector.
She was a woman of many talents, but her love for knitting stood out the most. She would often be found creating beautiful pieces, each stitch woven with love and care.
Her adventurous spirit took her on various trips, creating a tapestry of beautiful memories with those she held dear.
Robin was a beloved sister, a caring friend, and a devoted mother to Christina Buckley, Billy Chretien, and Katie Chretien. Her love and dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life.
Robin is survived by her dear partner George Cote, her three children, and her siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Farias and Albertina Chretien.
Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend a public visitation, 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM which will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Southcoast Funeral Home, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723.
In the words of Emily Dickinson, "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." Robin's love will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those she left behind.
