We celebrate the life of Rondena Holloway, a radiant soul whose journey began on April 16, 1982, in Providence, RI, and concluded gracefully on November 5, 2024.

Her spirit, radiant as the sun, illuminated the lives of all those in her orbit. Known for her loving nature and spirited character, Rondena was a beacon of resilience and positivity. As Maya Angelou once said, "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. It may even be necessary to encounter the defeat, so that you can know who you are, what you can rise from, and how you can still come out of it."

Residing in Lynn, Massachusetts, Rondena was a treasured member of the community. She carried a unique spark that she generously shared with the world through her compassionate nature and dedication to her work. As a committed shift worker for Dunkin Donuts, she served her customers with a smile that could brighten even the darkest day. Her resilience was a testament to her character, showing us all that no matter the challenges we face, we have the strength to overcome them.

She leaves behind her three children, Ja'Myah Moton, Terrance Chambers, and Damani Holloway. She leaves her legacy of love, laughter; and memories with her siblings Michael Holloway, Delicia Holloway, Kimberly Mangum, Sandra Holloway, Areanna Miller and Many nieces and nephews and family and friends. She is predeceased in life by her mother late Eugenia Holloway.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 03:00 PM - 04:30 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue at 04:30 PM, presided over by Chaplain & Life Celebrant Ines Bates. The committal service will be private.

As we gather, let us remember the words of Helen Keller: "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
