FALL RIVER... Samuel "Sammy" Cruz, 51, of Fall River passed away November 8, 2014 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Puerto Rico, he was a son of Luz Maria and the late Angel Cruz Arroyo and had lived in Fall River since 1974. Mr. Cruz enjoyed fishing and playing pool. Along with his mother, survivors include a daughter: Nicole Roy of Newport, RI, a sister: Mercedes Lozano of Fall River, a brother: Angel Cruz of Fall River, 2 grandchildren: Jalynn Cruz and Carly Rea Cruz, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 11 AM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be Monday, from 9 - 11 AM prior to the service. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
