FALL RIVER, Mass... Sandra B. Proverbs-Browne, age 64, passed away at home on Friday, December 30, 2022. Born in St. George, Barbados to the late Carol and Cynthnia (Bell) Proverbs, Sandra had lived in Fall River since 2017. Sandra worked as a nutrition assistant for Brigham and Women's Hospital. She loved spending time with daughter, nieces, and nephews as well children and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed cooking and baking as well as having a laugh. Survivors include daughter, Neeka Proverbs of Fall River, MA; brother, Andrew Proverbs; sisters, Stephanie Proverbs-Bennett, Myrna Proverbs-Hill, Jacqueline Proverbs-Harper, and Ingrid Proverbs, all of Barbados; and many nieces including Dr. Shari Goring, Shanice, Shanelle, Nikita, Shakhila, Jakayla, Zenekiah, Lisa and nephews Shane, Chad, Nikolai, Che, Steve. Her lifetime best friends Cheryl Nelson and Leroy Mclaurin. In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her sisters, the late Pamela Goring and Rhonda Linton. Sister-In-Law Roberta Springer Proverbs and Brother- In-Laws: David Hill, Nigel Harper, Kenneth Goring and Erskine Linton. Her grand pup Lexa Proverbs. Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 3:45 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA 02723. Visitation will also take place on the same day from 2 PM to 6 PM.
