FALL RIVER... Scott L. Sylvia, 43, of North Dartmouth, passed away, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was born in New Bedford, a son of Gregory Sylvia and his wife Cheryl Sylvia of Freetown MA, and Dawn M. (Soares) Pacheco and her husband Scott Pacheco of North Dartmouth, MA.

Mr. Sylvia was a nursing home cook for many years, and loved his time there. Scott enjoyed music and horror movies. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and friends, and being his weird crazy self.

Survivors include his parents; a son Kairin Sylvia of Lakeville; a daughter Ava Sylvia of Lakeville; a sister Jessica Clarke of Acushnet; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Natalia. He was the brother of the late Gregory J. Sylvia II and Jonathan G. L. Sylvia.

Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held, Monday, December 11, 2023, at the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St., Fall River, MA from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards funeral expenses.
