Scott M. Tarr, 49, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

Born on October 2, 1976, to May Jane (Eldredge) Tarr and the late Raymond Tarr, Scott leaves behind his three sons, William E. Thatcher of North Carolina, Timothy J. Hejor of Wrentham, and Damien Tarr of Florida; and two daughters, Harmony Tarr of Florida and Sage Russo of South Carolina.

Scott is also survived by his mother, May Jane Tarr of Claremont, New Hampshire; his four sisters, Patricia Myers of Claremont, New Hampshire, Sharon Colsia, Samantha Tarr of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, and Jeanette (Chuck) Lynch of Warwick, Rhode Island; and his brother, Paul Tarr of Claremont, New Hampshire.

Scott also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Scott was predeceased by his father, Raymond Tarr, and his nephew, Anthony Colsia.
