FALL RIVER... Sherry L. (Pacheco) Mendonca, 52, of Fall River passed away August 1, 2014 at her home. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Alice (Dufraine) Pacheco and had lived most of her life in Fall River, returning after spending 10 years in Fairhaven. Mrs. Mendonca worked for Community Nurse and Hospice of Fairhaven for many years. She was described as being outgoing, caring, trusting and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include 2 daughters: Jessica Latinville of Fall River and Chelsey Mendonca of New Bedford, 2 sons: Chad Latinville if Fall River and Jordan Tavares of Fairhaven, 5 brothers: Bryan Pacheco of Swansea, Alfred Pacheco of Berkley, Edmund Pacheco of Fall River, Joseph Pacheco of MO, and John Pacheco of Fall River, her best friend: Kelly Golden, 5 grandchildren: Carter Felix, Alyssa Latinville, Skyla Lucas, Jayelyn Latinville and Kamron Latinville, several nieces and nephews. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 9 AM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 - 8 PM.
