It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of Shiloh Chance Albee Jackson, (5 months old) of Middletown, Rhode Island who passed away on Saturday, November 09, 2024 at the Hasbro Children's Hospital, Providence, Rhode Island

Shiloh was the epitome of light, he loved life and took an admiration to even the smallest of things that came along with it. He absorbed the things that he took a liking to like water to a sponge. Nothing brought him more joy than experiencing his surroundings. He loved to be outside and he loved to look at the trees. His eyes lit up with curiosity at every chance.

Shiloh absolutely loved his sister, and she loved him just as fiercely. They could not get enough of one another. One of Shiloh's favorite pastimes was simply to squeal and scream, there was nothing that he found more amusing, aside from looking at himself.

Shiloh did not need much to be happy, he would fill the room with laughter and did not need a single toy or person to do it for him. The book he loved to hear the most was Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and he loved to hear his sister sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to him.

His safe place was mommy's chest. Shiloh loved to squeeze fingers and wiggle his toes. He would flash the biggest smile at the slightest boop of his nose. The sweet boy enjoyed playing babble games with mommy, they had their own language. He embodied and poured light into this world. Shiloh's light will never dull or dim, it will only shine brighter as it carries on into the sun, and the stars, and the moon.

A public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 01, 2024, from 03:00 PM - 04:30 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue at 04:30 PM, presided over by Chaplain & Life Celebrant Ines Bates. The committal service will be private.

As we bid farewell to Shiloh, let's remember him not with sorrow but with celebration for a life well-lived. His legacy will be cherished by all who knew him.
