FALL RIVER... Stephanie N. "Nikkie" Edwards, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Panama City, FL. Born in Fall River, Nikkie was daughter of Bruce Edwards of Fall River and the late Diane Tatum. She was a lifelong resident of the city. Nikkie was a graduate of Durfee High School in Fall River. She worked as a clerk, most recently with Shell. Nikkie enjoyed cooking and loved music, especially 80's and 90's R&B. She also enjoyed spending time with her relatives and friends. In addition to her father, Nikkie is survived by: sons, Shemuel J. Machado of Georgia, Keyante Divine Edwards of New Bedford, MA; sister, Alicia Marie Gonsalves of Fall River, MA; brothers, Tyrone Edwards and Michael Edwards, both of Fall River; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her companion of many years, Dwayne Farmer; brother, the late Bruce Edwards; sister, the late Toni Edwards; and brother-in-law, the late Robert R. Jordan. Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA 02723. Visitation will take place Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 9AM-11 AM. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River, MA.
