Steven
Ouellette
Apr 4, 1960 — Jul 6, 2026
Steven A. Ouellette, lovingly known as "The Godfather" and "Candy Man", passed away on July 6th, 2026, leaving behind an unforgettable legacy of love, laughter, and dedication. Born on April 4th, 1960 in Fall River, Massachusetts, Steven was a beacon of joy and a pillar of his community. His radiant smile could illuminate even the darkest of rooms, and his laughter was contagiously delightful. A dedicated professional CDL driver and respected trainer for Republic Services, Steven transformed his work into a 46-year career that was a testament to his commitment to excellence and his willingness to impart his knowledge to others.
Steven was a man of many passions. His love for the beach, shopping, and karaoke was only surpassed by his knack for cracking jokes that could lift anyone's spirit. Notably, he was a loving husband to Sheila Ouellette and a cherished family man. His dedication to his family was unrivaled, and this was evident in his interactions with his grandson Jayden Texeira, step-daughter Lisa Almeida, son-in-law Eric Almeida, granddaughter-in-law Alanah Texeira, and great-grandson Creed Texeira. His brother, Brian Ouellette, and sister-in-law, Julie Pavao, also survive him. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dolores Ouellette, and his brother, Edward Ouellette.
As Mark Twain once said, "The best way to cheer yourself is to try to cheer someone else up." Steven lived these words every day, spreading joy and laughter wherever he went. Despite his love for his work truck, what mattered most to Steven was his wife, family, and the positive impact he made in their lives. His memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Friends and Family are cordially invited to celebrate the life of Steven which will be held at the Southcoast Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, 05:00 PM - 08:00 PM inside of the Ferreira Chapel.
