FALL RIVER... Steven C. Ziccardi, age 64, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, December 14, 2023. A lifelong resident of the area, Steven was born in Fall River, MA to the late John and Julia (Moss) Ziccardi. Steven proudly served his nation in the United States Army, 101st Airbourne Division and proudly told tales of jumping out Blackhawk helicopters with a love for his time served. He was honorable, resilient, strong, determined throughout his life, never giving up. Following his service, he worked as a machinist and tool sharpener in marine mechanics. He had a unique, intelligent, and creative mind full of laughter and good humor. He was a kind, loving, amazing father to his daughters. He lived an introverted, peaceful, and quiet life and enjoyed reading and writing poems. He had a passion for art, sewing, and music and enjoyed movies and interior decorating. Survivors include daughters, Crystal Miller of Westfield, MA and Loran Poulin of West Warwick, RI; grandchildren, Isaiah Pinder, Kiara Pinder, Shaylee Pinder, and Lillian Poulin, sisters, Donna Ziccardi, Cheryl Ziccardi and Lisa Ziccardi; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Steven was predeceased by his daughter, the late Jessica Ziccardi. Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 1:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
