FAIRHAVEN... Susan A. Fortier, age 64, passed away at home on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Susan leaves behind her beloved husband, Paul Pimental. Born in Hartford, CT, Susan was the daughter of Mary L. (Diaz) Reynolds of Sarasota, FL, and the late Ernest J. Fortier.

Susan dedicated her career to nursing, receiving a Bachelor Degree in Maine prior to moving to Fairhaven. She worked as a registered nurse at Hathaway Manor for 23 years, then transitioned to Southcoast VNA for 10 years. Susan was known for her creativity, making jewelry and in recent years taking up knitting. She loved to travel. Susan enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether gardening at home or going to the beach. She also loved to spend time with her pets.

In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include: son, Thomas Tower of Fairhaven, MA and step-son, Devin Pimental of Seattle, WA; brothers, David Fortier of Chapman, KS and Joseph Fortier of Oregon; and sister, Sandra Fortier of Sarasota, FL.
