With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Thomas Michael Norwood, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all whose lives he touched. Born in New Bedford, MA, on September 7, 1954, Thomas spent 70 wonderful years creating a lifetime of memories before his departure on February 6, 2025. Thomas's charisma and zest for life were unmatched and will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved.

Thomas was a man of many passions. He was a dedicated car salesman for 20 years, later becoming a successful manager. His innate ability to connect with people and his genuine spirit made him not only successful but also beloved in the auto industry. Before this, he carved his reputation as a skilled Artesian well driller for 20 years, a profession he took great pride in. But his achievements in work were only a fraction of the joy he found in his personal life. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." Thomas's true joy was his family, his wife of 38 years, Nancy, their three sons David, Nathan, and Trevor, along with their seven grandchildren, Nathan, Jonathan, Cassandra, Victoria, Dylan, Madison, and Damien.

Thomas's love for life and adventure was infectious. He and Nancy spent countless weekends exploring New Hampshire and Cape Cod, cherishing the great outdoors. A lover of water sports, Thomas could often be found boating or skiing, with Nancy by his side. At home, he found comfort and companionship with his beloved cat, Coal. He was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Dorothy Norwood, and his brother, James. He is survived by his brother, Gary.

Thomas Norwood's life was a testament to the words of Maya Angelou: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
