Obituary

It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Todd Alex Honeycutt, born on May 24, 1959, in Attleboro, MA. A cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Todd, as he was affectionately known, lived a life brimming with dedication, service, and passion. As American author Mark Twain once said, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." Todd embodied this notion with his fearless embrace of life and its varied experiences.

As a dedicated servant of the community, Todd devoted his career to public safety, serving with distinction as a police officer. His unwavering commitment to service, integrity, and peacekeeping contributed significantly to the safety and well-being of his beloved hometown Attleboro. His tenacity and bravery were matched only by his kindness and ability to bring solace to those in distress. Todd was not merely a police officer; he was a beacon of hope, a symbol of justice, and a true hero in every sense of the word.

Todd's love for his family was unparalleled. He is survived by his sons Shawn, Jeremy, and Daniel Honeycutt, and his brother Bruce Honeycutt. His girlfriend Hilda Elaine of Attleboro. His spirit will continue to live on through his grandchildren, Emma, Lacey, Kevin, Braedyn, and Shaylynn Honeycutt, Wyatt Ahern of Maine, and Deva Ann Garnett of Rehoboth who were the apples of his eye. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Honeycutt. A man of great strength and resilience, Todd's love for his family was the driving force behind his every action. He taught us that "Family is not an important thing, it's everything," a quote by Michael J. Fox that Todd held dear.

As we remember Todd, we invite you to share your memories, stories, and photos on his memorial page. These shared moments of laughter, joy, and love will serve as a testament to the extraordinary life Todd lived and the indelible impact he had on those fortunate to have known him.
