Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Venesa Ann Troiano, a truly remarkable individual whose spirit was as vibrant as the morning sun.

Venesa, born on August 31, 1959, in Fall River, Massachusetts, was a beacon of love, kindness, and strength that shone brightly in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Venesa was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, committed to providing the highest level of care and compassion to her patients. She brought light into the lives of countless individuals throughout her career in the healthcare service industry. Venesa's kindness and dedication were a testament to her character and an example to us all. As Mother Teresa put it, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." And that's exactly how Venesa lived her life, doing small things with an enormous amount of love.

Venesa leaves behind her beloved husband, John Mello, who stood by her side, sharing life's joys and challenges. She also leaves behind her son Eric Troiano and fiancée Malinda Brownel. She was a loving grandmother of 3 to Nadia Troiano, Penelope Troiano, and Daisy Troiano who loved her very much and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Salvador, and her mother, Marjorie Troiano.

She also has a brother Donald Saucier, a sister Valerie Di Sarro, (Troiano) and nieces Crystal Troiano and Victoria Silva, also great nieces and nephews Christopher Silva, Ethan Silva, and Austin Silva, Angelina Silvia, Veronica Silvia and Anthony Silva. In the words of Helen Keller, "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Venesa's love and spirit will forever remain a part of those she has left behind.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 04:00 PM - 06:00 PM. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at 06:00 PM at the same venue celebrated by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates.

We invite all who knew and loved Venesa to share their memories and photos on her memorial page. She touched many lives, and her story is far from over. As we share and remember, we keep her spirit alive, celebrating the remarkable woman she was, and the legacy she leaves behind.
