With a heart full of memories and a spirit that refused to be tamed, Wanda Jean Miller began her journey in eternity on February 20, 2025.

Born to Adolf and Elaine (Bowen) on December 6, 1948, in New Bedford, MA, Wanda danced her way into many hearts with her radiant smile and zest for life. Despite her physical limitations, she was a beacon of hope and resilience, echoing the words of Helen Keller, "Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."

Wanda spent her years in Westport, Massachusetts, not confined by any challenges, but rather defined by her courage, strength, and unyielding spirit. She embraced life with arms wide open, always ready to offer a comforting word, a warm smile, or a listening ear. Her tenacity was a testament to her character, showing us that it is not our circumstances but our reactions to them that define us. As Albert Einstein once said, "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." Wanda was the embodiment of this, turning adversities into stepping stones.

Wanda leaves behind a loving daughter, Hope Miller, who was the center of her universe. Wanda's spirit lives on in Hope, who embodies her mother's resilience, strength, and grace. Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Al Civic, and her mother, Elaine Bowen. Their reunion beyond the veil is a comfort to those who loved Wanda, reminding us that love is eternal, and bonds forged in heart and soul remain unbroken.
