Obituary

Wayne Leo Dupre passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025 at Mass General Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness.

Born on February 28, 1963, in Fall River, he spent his life in the community he loved.

Wayne had a deep passion for sports and found great joy in coaching baseball. His enthusiasm for the game and mentoring young athletes left a lasting impact on those he coached.

He also had a love for fishing and classic automobiles, hobbies that brought him both relaxation and excitement over the years. Among Wayne's greatest joys was his beloved dog Jake, who was a constant companion. His love for animals reflected his kind and caring nature.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Agnes Dupre.

He is survived by his sisters, Denise Howe of Taunton, and Lisa Almeida and her husband Mac of Ocala, Fl. His three children, Shana Dupre and her fiancé Scott Beland of Westport, Eric Dupre and his wife Natasha of Little Compton, R.I., and Nicole Dupre-Beland of Bristol, Connecticut; seven grandchildren, Zackary Dupre, Nicholas, Leah, and Nevaia Beland, Autumn, Kyler and Cora Dupre. He is also survived by his two nephews, Christopher and Michael Howe.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA.

Wayne's memory will live on through those who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
