William
Dias
Sep 4, 1964 — Dec 16, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved William (Billy) Dias, who passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer at Saint Anne's Hospital on Tuesday, December 15, 2025 he was a true craftsman, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Born on September 4, 1964, in Fall River, MA, Billy lived a life full of passion, creativity, and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on the world and the hearts of those who knew him. As Goethe once said, "The artist belongs to his work, not the work to the artist," and this was truly the case with Billy. His devotion to his craft was a testament to his commitment, not only to carpentry but to his drive for excellence.
He leaves behind his wife Cheryl Dias, sons Billy Dias of Texas and Kenneth Medeiros of Somerset and daughter Kayla Medeiros of Somerset. Grandsons Elliot Dias , Logan Pereira and Michael St Pierre and Granddaughter Amelia Dias. Also his Sister Donna Dias of Westport. He is proceeded by his father John B Dias and mother Virginia Dias . Also Brothers Gilbert Dias , John W Dias and Theodore (Ted) Dias Sister Deb Dias.
Billy enjoyed watching movie after movie and also watching DYI home improvement Shows . He was never one to turn down a bowl of ice cream and spending time with his family.
